Either I am getting old and start seeing my messages in double or they show up twice on my phone regularly.

Anyone else has this issue? It had been doing this for about a month.

I'm with Bell Mobility using Z30STA100-5/10.2.1.3247

But i was doing this with my Z10 too, prior from changing to the Z30.

It's a carrier issue. Have had it off and on for years. AM on Telus in Western Canada.

Quite annoying to be honest. It's not the phone.

Yeah well seems like it's everyone I know... even in Rogers. but mostly in BlackBerry 10.... but I can't confirm that other platforms don't have it

Have you recently performed a software update or installed a leak?
I had this happen last year after doing one of the above. Texts that existed at the time of the update were duplicated even when replying to those conversations. Deleted them all and started new convos with those contacts and it resolved the issues

You think it's old conversation threads that is causing the issue? Cause I do hang around with threads that had been going on for a long long time.

at first it seemed like it was only doing from received iPhone msgs, but after some more time, no matter what phone even blackberries, it keeps happening.

I am using a z30 with 10.3.0.1154 on T Mobile USA and I get double incoming text messages from time to time. I think the majority of them are folks using iMessage with IOS. I also had the same issue when I was was my iPhone 5s, it's been a known problem for a while now.

Had this issue when I first got my z10 and was with Tmobile. Went away after switching to AT&T.

Yes. Do a test. Delete one or two of your long convos, then start a new one with that same contact and see if it duplicates. I bet it doesn't

Recently I have been getting doubles only from one friend on my contact list. I believe they are on t-mobile but nobody else sends me double. In the US also.

Got three copies from my spouse on her z10 on Rodgers.
I'll just note they had to shut down a Telus Cell tower here because some moron tried to climb it. Other local towers were taxed to carry the burden.
