Buddy of mine broke his phone last night. Dropped it and shattered the screen, where is the best place to get the full assembly so we don't have to separate the screen from other parts. Thanks for the help

Amazon, eBay, I would trust amazon more for something like this,
Good luck, I replaced my screen and digitizer and it works perfectly.

    220 bucks later? Insane.

OP where are you from? You can get it for about 20-30 bucks depending where you live. The whole process is dead simple, took me about 15-20 minutes

I bought one from ebay that was the screen portion for $30 and it was straight forward to install. Only issue with ifixit had the wrong screen drivers listed as the ones I needed. They list the as a TX2 and TX4 but I needed a TX1 and TX3.

Last week I replace my screen/housing assembly, which I ordered from US seller (located in Michigan) for $14.

    Bought it via e-bay, item # 281257817763

It took me about 20 minutes tops. One thing I suggest on this replacement.

When you separate the board, the heatsink for the processor and thermal grease separated on mine. I had extra thermal grease to fill the area where it was applied to get the heat to dissipate separately.

This is super easy repair...just to highlight items you need:

    t3 screw driver
finger nail (or one of those plastic separater thingy to separate body)
thermal grease (may not need it, but mine needed it)
    30 minutes of time.
Cold brew after you know you did excellent job at replacing screen.

I wish all phones are made this way, but another score for z10.

There are tons of videos out there for replacing screen, but since it come with the housing, it makes this job 10X easier.

    Good luck.

Etrade supply seems to carry original parts for cheap. Also eBay or amazon but some will charge you fortune so be careful. One way to spot spurious part is when picture doesn't show 'BlackBerry' logo at the bottom of LCD. That usually means cheap Chinese stuff.

I'm curious about it because I have used T2 and T4. Maybe there is difference with models. I have stl-2.
