Hi all, this is driving me batty. There are addresses duplicated in my playbook address book. When I try to delete them, the address book automatically updates and re-adds them. Most are facebook addresses that I don�t even use.
I have yahoo email with several aliases. Could this be the reason?
I would love to clean this up, but its a losing battle because as soon as I delete an address, it updates and re-duplicates it.
Is there a fix for this or do I just have to live with it?

I had problems like this in my BlackBerry Torch 9800 and then in my Z10.

I don't think I realised back on my BB 9800, that I could of been given the choice to where I want my contacts saved.

Just a few months ago, I had the chance, to rant till my hearts content about out address book.
I have not tried to look in PB yet for it, but am presuming it would run on the same principle's and I learnt that there may be more than two choices, of where you would like to save your contacts.

The choices I have on my Z10 are:
Local Contacts
User PC
Facebook
Hotmail/outlook account

Duplication I found, again and again till I realised that I was saving my contacts in all these places.

This is the part am not yet sure about; does the PB have the same system of links in the contact address book.
If it does, it is possibly. That's where the fault lies and you need to sort out Your links and where you contacts where will keep your contacts in future.

Your PlayBook is duplicating your contact addresses so it will look like you are having many friends... just only guessing...
