    Z10 has Wolfson DAC, besides clock speed and storage size Q5 seems to have the same internal hardware. I thought the Q5 sounded good through midrange iems - as good as my z10, but I'm no audiophile. Is there a chance the Q5 has the same chip?

    wow..is that true? Wolfson on a BB..thats something..I hope thtats the case for Q5! thanks for the info

    I'm getting conflicting information. One source says Wolfson and another says Qualcomm but of fairly good quality. One teardown I saw had different chips on different models (stl100-1 vs 100-3). But this still doesn't answer your question.
