I need to transfer an app from one 8330 to another. It is an insurance rate calculator app. I use this as a total stand alone app. no phone service, no wifi, no internet. My old 8330 just crashed and will not move off the opening screen. The app is no longer available from my company as a download over the internet. I have bought 2 more 8330 to put this app onto. I do not want to activate cell service on these to just get the app. The app appears on my Blackberry Desktop Software when the old phone is connected. How can I transfer the app from the old phone to the two newer phones? both 8330s.

Can you do a device switch or restore a backup from the old 8330 onto one (or both) of the new ones? Maybe another possibility is to use Darcy's Tools to extract the bar file you need and then load it onto the 8330? I'm not sure about how those tools and tricks work with the older BB's - I kept my stuff as is back then. Good luck though!

Tried BBSAK? It could save the app and then you could reload it
