I haven't been able to find a solution to my issue. I am able to send text messages but have problems receiving them. If I turn my radio off than on, it works for a little bit and stops again. I was thinking about downgrading the radio file but don't know if this will make any difference. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

The same thing happened to me with a different 10.3 version. I had to keep rebooting. I would try another radio file.

I tried a few things with very little success. I am in 1154 also. Z30 vrz. It seemed downgrading was the only solution then. I decided to do a security wipe one last time. When the phone restarted I did not connect to wifi or installed anything at all. Then I press the top button until the red light came on and restarted the phone. I reinstalled the 1154 again. When finished, pressed the top button again until restarted. I did not do any type of backup. I installed all apps including android apps.
Everything works. Text come and are being sent. You may want to start by pressing the button and wait for the red light to restart your phone. Let me know if it works.

I'm on Verizon Z10 on 10.3.0.1154/1155 radio. No text issues...in fact, no issues at all. In So California....maybe reload radio file...?

Really struggling with this. Have tried different radios including attempting a 10.2 radio which of course did not work.

Texts will come in but then I never know when it has stopped. Until someone calls and says if I have received a text yet.

Does anyone think it is linked to the voice mail issue. I have loaded the visual voice mail bar files too. If I don't voice mail does not show in hub (regular nor visual). Thanks for any help. On z30

After reloading the radio for 1155 my Verizon Z30 began to work properly. I received texts from everyone but two - three later again, I did not receive "some" texts. This does not seem to be a device or an OS problem because a friend who uses Verizon as well but a totally different brand of phone. She is experiencing the same thing. I firmly believe it is Verizon with the problem somewhere in this area.

For now, the only solution for me was to reinstall 1052 that somehow seem to work best with Verizon. I miss 1155.

Yes definitely an OS issue or radio issue with verizon. Still having problems on 10.3.1. Tried 1151 and I missed a few within a short time. It seems like if your phone drops from 4g or the BlackBerry symbol goes away for a second you will not receive texts. You have to turn the radio/network off and back back on to get it back. The problem is you never know when it is happening.

Simple solution...have all your friends switch to BBM to send you texts.

But seriously...this issue and the lack of flash has been keeping me from switching my daily driver Verizon Z30 over to 10.3. I have 10.3 on my Z10 to play with...

There have been numerous threads about this, one solution is to roll the radio to 939,996 or 1011. I am currently on 1011, no issues for over a week.

It can be found in the os archive sticky in the leak section.

Try turning off phone. Remove SIM, wait about 15 seconds, reinsert SIM, turn phone back on. YMMV.
