Hello everybody!
i've just joined this helpulf forum (i've always followed it) cause i'm facing a problem with Q10 and Outlook...

When i sync by BBlink the contacts everything seems to be ok BUT for every contact on my Q10 i can see only one phone number..... i give you an example just to be clear:
Outlook:
Name: Peter
Mobil: 1234566
Pager:9876

Q10
Name: Peter
Mobil:1234566
No pager number appears.......

I've tried everything but nothing seems to be the right solution....

any help??

Make sure that you're not syncing to your sim card as it only holds certain fields.

I'm sure not to have synced it with the sim...i've used BlackBerry link and the contacts are the ones in outlook on my PC! anyway what shoud i check to be 100%sure???

Refer to the online help regarding syncing and "Mapping fields", Pager is not normally a field that get's synced as there is not usually a corresponding field on the BlackBerry. Or it may be assigned to a field that does not usually get mapped.

but with my previous torch and desktop manager i'd never faced such problem.....
Moreover i can see such field in my q10...

I checked the online help and pager seems to be supported but it does not work at all!!!!!!
If i create a contact on Q10 and fill the "other" field with a telephone number it is syncr. in outlook but if i change such number in outlook it is not syncr. on Q10................

i really don't know what to do!!!i have lots of contacts with 2 mobiles or telephones!!

PS: is there a mapping field option in BBlink like in DManager???

SOLVED!
created an outlook.com account, installed the windows live hotmail plugin in Outlook 2010 in my pc,imported calendar and contacts into the new folders (contacts and calendar) created by the plugin, created the outlook.com account on Q10, and syncro is ok!!!!!

Hoping this may help someone with the same issue!
