    Hi
Let me apologize if this has been covered before on these forums. I searched and I could not find any info.

I know everyone can laugh but I'm running a 9700 and for the most part its been great. I am ready to retire this phone and want to know how or if the old form of push technology still works with new Passport phones? I have my corporate Exchange server but wondered how new email phone push / pull technologies work and why I should move to a Passport over say an iPhone 6 (their new phone)

    All view points are welcomed..

oldschool push a la BIS /BES is a thing of the past

everything use activesync these days. you will still get you email quite fast on it some time my phone recives my emails before the outlook client.

its just something you will have to embrace and get used to whether you choose the passport an IPhone or one of the many Androids out there. it is all Activesync

Now "Push" is emulated by setting sync times and it is not noticeably different.

Absolutely true. I can be sitting at my desk with Outlook open and the mail hits my BlackBerry first.

You will not be disappointed with BB10.
