Just wanted to share, because I'm really happy and stunned!

My BlackBerry Z10 took a dive in the pool the other day and died.

And now a few days later it has come back to life, with all functions working properly!

    Go BlackBerry!!

Good for you. Did you put it in rice or something?

Yeah, rice is a right option to deal with such electronic device issues...

No I didn't... actually, I did everything wrong haha.

Used the hairdryer, put in the battery a few times when the device was probably still wet on the inside.

So I'm amazed that it still works

Might I suggest that you bend over fully, and remove the horseshoe from your backside, as it will probably get uncomfotable after a while!

I hope for your sake it will be good for the long haul, there could be some damage. I'm happy it is working for you but I think you have gotten lucky. Report back in a couple months and let us know if it is still smooth sailing.

This is the best feeling! Happened with my bold 9900 a couple years ago and just let it sit in rice for a day then tried it. It didn't work. I was pissed and then put it back in rice for another day or so, tried it, and then it worked. I was so happy.

Using hairdryer will destroy the circuits because of hot air..u will not see the sudden change..when ur device gets hot on regular use then it will damage the circuit more and ur device will be off..therefore rice is best option.....
