Wonder if anyone can help me with this. I've got a Z10 and I've downloaded a few songs from Soundcloud (website, don't use the app), but when I come to play them I get "Unable to play file" message. This even happens to tracks that I have previously had on the same phone and listened to. Hasn't happened to all songs I've downloaded, but seems to becoming more regular

Has anyone had this problem? If so, anyway of sorting it out?

I'm running 10.2.1.2977. Can't tell you what format the music is, because when I look at the properties the file type field is blank

And what about the file types of the files you can play? It is possible those that cannot be played are corrupt and a redownload may solve that issue.

The ones I can play show as MP3. Just tried deleting and re-downloading one of the tracks, but no joy.

How did you download it?
I just downloaded via PC and transferred to Z10
Plays fine (I'm currently on 1154, but I've done this on 10.2 too)
