As soon as 10.3 was out I always thought the icons were too small and as a result there was a lot of wasted screen space.

Personally I think the icons 'pop' a bit better if they are enlarged. Photos are not my own. Horrible 5 minute ms paint job is.

What do you guys think? yay or nay? (originals on top)

you still do. see pictures above. I have only increased the size of icons. not the number of icons per screen.

No, I like the smaller icons. I feel the same about my current icons on my Q10. They look a little too big for the screen in the 3x4 grid. I have heard that in 10.3.1 they will be on a 3x5 or 4x4 grid, which I suppose would make them smaller. I would like that.

Let's worry about other issues. The icons are not something we should be focusing on. Lots of other things need addressing like the contacts. PLEASE!!!!!!!!

    Yep.

At at second glance the smaller icons are better for legibility, at first you wouldn't think so. That's how I felt.

I'm actually a fan of the smaller icon size. As always, maybe an option to have them small or large?

I'd prefer larger icons, as OP proposed. Then again, I don't get off so much when seeing my plain background as so many CrackBerry kooks with their supercars and pinups.
