See that top bar right there? You can swipe left/right to go to the previous/next track!

No need to open the main now playing screen to do that.

I don't know if it's in the previous releases but I have it on 10.3.0.1052.

I normally use the volume keys, but this is a nice find. Especially since the volume key skip function seems to be choppy at times

    Nice find indeed!

I've gotta say though this is the kind of stuff that makes me angry with the implementation of the gesture based OS.. this one is minor sure, but still.. there's tons of time saving gestures but how is anybody supposed to find this stuff except for by accident? This has probably been there since 10.0 and nobody knew!

My wife has had her Z10 for nearly 2 years now and I just found out the other day she didn't know you could swipe back on the keyboard to delete.. if you don't visit CrackBerry you don't know.. and that's a problem.

Edit: that said, I'm on Z10STL100-3/10.3.0.1130 +1154 bars and this isn't working for me..

This is frustrating for sure. Especially when you see apple and android TV ads showing off a "new" feature that BlackBerry has had for years. The most recent example is the camera where you can touch anywhere on the screen to take a picture.

There is a simpler way to do it.

Just hold VolumeUp or VolumeDown buttons for a couple of seconds and player will switch a track to Next or Previous.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, in 10.3 you can no longer touch anywhere to take a picture. You have to hit an on-screen button now. Furthermore, switching to video recording starts the recording right away vs. giving you an opportunity to frame your shot first, you know, efficiency.

Another thing that I noticed in 10.3 music player when listening via bluetooth in car is that it will continue playing wherever you left off the last time. In the past it would always start a new session by shuffling all songs. So then I would have to select play list etc... not anymore. It's awesome, I love it.

It's ok... if Apple /Samsung really are introducing a brand new feature that allows you to take a pic by touching anywhere on the screen (revolutionary!),.. then it's only a matter of time before the buffoons BlackBerry rounds up for their research focus groups will start saying that they "are confused by the buttons", and would "prefer if it was like Apple/Android".

We'll see it back in 10.4.

Mine always started back where I left off, as long as I didn't close the music app on my BlackBerry. I've yet to try it on 10.3 to see if it behaves differently.

You just frame the shot while still on the picture screen, the video button just starts recording, the camera takes a pic, plus you can also take pics whilst filming, it's much better than the 10.2. Camera.

10.3.Camera app changed! No more touch anywhere to take pictures! Touch anywhere to focus there...dedicated buttons for taking stills and videos on the same screen! No more mistaken videos when trying to take a still and vice versa! It's great! No longer do you have to stop and switch from video to camera screen! Just tap the correct button!

There are video demos available through the help app. Being as this is an unreleased beta the videos will only be current released OS version. Other features are available in the music app as well. Check out http://berryflow.com/2014/09/blackbe...t-adaptive-ui/

Hate to sound stupid if this is a well known about feature but, I'm pretty new to BlackBerry so why not.

I figured this out recently which I never noticed on 10.2.

While viewing an album, you can swipe down on the album image to reveal the track list and select a different song.

You have to hit an on-screen button if you're using an all touch device, Q users can still take a picture start/stop a video with the space bar

It is a feature I have known and maybe many others here know as well...but I am sure there are many out here that did not know about that feature! Thanks for sharing the screenshots as I am sure people will appreciate that!!! It is a great feature within the music app as well, and the native BB apps really are becoming quite powerful and fun to use!

Yeah. And they got rid of that feature cause it was too complicated......

Just like the swipe down to answer up to reject.
