Hello, I wonder if you people use Miracast and if yes, could you share the information about the hardware needed to connect Z30 to TV? I asked sales people at FutureShop if they had a Miracast dongle available and they had no idea what I was talking about. Thanks.

Wdtv uses DLNA protocols. Have one myself and can't mirror my phone. Only play photos, music, and videos through th Wdtv live unit.

I also use a netgear ptv3000 for miracast function in my office. Works awesome. Just make sure you have latest firmware installed or connecting may be buggy.
I use it on a daily basis along with a BT keyboard and mouse.

Yep, the Netgear push2tv works well, I bring it on all my travels to hook up to the hotel tvs. Works great and you can find them for a half decent price.

I also tried an ezcast wifi dongle, didn't have much luck with that one as it required an android app to work.

Netgear ptv3000 was the second miracast device I tried and it works perfect.

Thank you sir for that info. I book marked that link. Will be updating my firmware this week. Will be awesome having a DLNA and miracast capable all in one device.

I hardly use my Wdtv since getting the amazon fire with xbmc. Will definitely be using it more now that I can connect with miracast.

Try eBay, I am looking at one for about $25 AUD, the brand is Measy and it plugs into any TV with HDMI input. I just updated my Z10 to a Z30 yesterday and will order one of these.

I had the measy stick. Needs android Ezcast app to work. Never got it to work. Maby after some updates it will.

On the eBay ad it looked like a Z30, so I figured it would work out of the box. Thanks for the heads up. Anyone else used one of these with success?

I'm guessing any brand that is purely mirracast would work. The problem is that any of these sticks are multi, as in they do airplay, mirracast and dnla and need some android app like Ezcast to connect and choose between the options, and. This will not work.
