I am building a new house and have thoughts for the use of playbooks. Would it be possible to have playbooks installed into the walls with power sources, hooked into a TV via HDMI. Have each PlayBook with its own BBID so you can utilize bbm as an intercom from room to room. Also have it set up with bluetooth speakers in the rooms so you can play music from a media hub set up on the home network and play movies from said hub over the TV in the room. I am thinking this is doable, anyone have any input/help to design this?

It can be done. One of my clients had done this to his home. The only suggestion I have is to make it accessible in case you need to swap it out for another one. Personally, I prefer russound but pb's much cheaper
