I've had my blackberry z10 since April last year and it's always been fine. This morning I put it on charge while it still had about 50% I left it on charge for about 20 mins and then went on it and it was fine. It stayed on charge and the next time I went to go on it,it was just a black screen I've tried taking the battery,sim card and memory card out numerous times and still nothing. Not even the red flash appears. I've tried connecting it to the laptop but it doesn't seem to work either. I have no idea what's wrong with it and could really use some advice on how to get it to work as I really need it to work.

Try holding your power button in for a few min, then if that doesn't work try holding the volume buttons in for a couple.

I've tried doing that a few times and it still won't turn on,not even the red flash. I've tried linking it up to blackberry link but it's saying I need to connect a device when I have it's plugged in and everything it still won't work.

Make sure your battery is in good and tight. And the contacts are clean.

I have,it's kinda weird though as when I put it on charge it heats up

probably your motherboard crashed. i have had this issue a few times.. BlackBerry swapped out my devices and just gave me new ones. I hope through there diagnostic testing they learn how to fix the issue

I had this happen to me right after I downloaded the att 3337 update on my z10. After 2 days I went to the store to try a different battery from a floor model and it still didn't fix it. I pretty much gave up and went to file warranty and it just came back on its own with only 2% battery. I charged it up (previously was not responding to charger). But it was unstable and kept shutting off and I was getting weird errors/issues. so Since I could boot I did a secure wipe. When it was done I was several versions back and att would only allow an update to 3014. So if you just updated to 3337 maybe this is the issue?
