What is the difference between the charge time on the normal BlackBerry charger and the playbook one?

I'm thinking of getting one

its maybe a third quicker. You can find the 1.8 amp charger for cheap on ebay. $3 each or so

There was a thread on this the other day.... Something about "great speedy charger" where folks chimed in with their opinions on speed. I think it is very fast and others not so much.

I think people are crazy that think that the 1.8A charger doesn't make a difference. I can't go back to the stock charger that came with my phone. The 1.8A charger charges my z10 from dead in just and I mean just over 2 hours. It's freaking fast!

Yeah the PlayBook charges from 0 to 100 in about 2 hours and 10 minutes or so and the z10 stock charger takes about 3 hours +. There is a significant difference. Heck my 1.8 car charger also charges faster than the local charger

It charges faster.

If you wanna leave your phone charging overnight, or for long periods, go with the stock.

If you want a quick one, go for the PB charger
