    I just received a courtesy call from etrade just to inform me that they won't be supporting BlackBerry with their etrade mobile app anymore. So sometime in the future legacy phones with the app won't get the service. The lady didn't even know that BB10 runs the android app. She seemed surprised when I told her that android works. I asked if they'll develop an app in the future and she said no. They seem to feel as is BlackBerry doesn't even exist anymore so they don't want to support the platform anymore. Sucks

    Yeah, no incentive for them. To me, this shows the importance of the Amazon deal.

    It's interesting that they gave you a call. Given the presence of Blackberry devices in the financial industry, I guess there are still a significant number of people who manage their portfolio via their Blackberries.

    Etrade android app works fine on my z30. As does my tradeking app.
