I have had a Z10 since launch but have been looking at maybe picking up the Classic when it comes out as I found my typing to be a lot faster on my Bold 9900.
But I am sat here, using my phone while typing up this post on my PC, and my phone is just laying on the desk and I can easily use and type with it without the need of picking it up. I'd loose this ability if I had a hardware QWERTY.

Does anyone else type like this if they are at their desk?

Nope, I type better with it in my hands. Just easier and less awkward I find

No, I just have the phone laid down in front of my PC keyboard and just need to swipe up on the phone and start typing on that with no need to pick the phone up. Double index finger typing.
