[CrackBerry Question]

Have been given my daughters bb. Cleared out all messages, text contacts etc. Had it unlocked so can use my Spanish network sim card (HITS, who do not support BB Data plan). Set up wifi, bluetooth etc and all works fine.

Downloaded BB desktop to backup and sync contacts but found I had to switch of my daughters BBid wifi to transfer contacts PC to BB and vise verca.

Since then I can no longer connect to wifi hotspots, even the ones I have saved and connected before. I no longer have the wifi icon liy up on the home screen.

I can only connect in my home via my wifi broadband modem

Yes! That worked but only after deleting all saved networks.
