My good old Torch met its demise and I upgraded to the Q5. Huge learning curve but the biggest issue I have right now is that when the phone rings from the lock/sleep the screen does not light up. Is there a setting I can use to fix this? Example: I was driving and the phone was ringing but the screen remained dark...I could not see who was calling.

Try checking under Settings > Notification and click on "Lock Screen Settings" highlighted in blue and see if your lock screen setting is on.

Interesting, I haven't had any gliches with mine *3 months in and counting* what color did you choose? This is my first blackberry in 3 years and I'm so blown away by the change from the old interface. You'll love it! I think something is wrong with your phone. Screen is always light up for call. There's no setting for that. Always On when someone calling you, correct me if I'm wrong. Are you using a screen protector?

Agreed, have had mine for 6 months and that's exactly how it works, there isn't a setting. Had an idea though, perhaps your phone notifications are set to 'silent' or 'all alerts off' !! Check it out, maybe that will solve your issue.
