Hi all, are the back ups done through BlackBerry Link encrypted? My phone has encryption enabled if that makes a difference.

I think they are kind of encrypted, so that you are not able to read them with notepad or so. But there is special software like "Elcom BlackBerry BackUp Explorer" that is able to show all data in your BackUp File.
Maybe it isnt an encryption, just a special file format or something else, but you can not select special encryption for your backups and the tool I mentioned will open any backup file instantly.
