Also If I'm using a hotel wifi can I still upload pictures with it? Will anyone else have access to my pictures? Sorry this is all kind of new to me

Do you want to let your Playbook be the HotSpot for you camera and upload the pictures to the internet(1.) or do you want to have the pics directly saved on the playbook (2.)?
1. Only the 32GB 3G Playbook should be able to do this.
2. I think you need an app from your camera manufacturer. I garantee that there are non in the BlackBerry World, but maybe some Android Apps will do the work. But I dont know
