hey i just installed the os 10.3.0.1052 on my blackberry z10
but now i want to restore data like contacts on it
can u please tell me how i can go about doing this

You have to restore from link, or set up like new.

I restored from 10.2.1.3xxx no problem, did take awhile to index everything but all apps and data are there including android, but did have to sideload snap

If you made a full backup through BlackBerry Link or Sachesi :
After running the autoloader and installing the OS, sign in to BlackBerry ID open BlackBerry world reinstall all the apps you had before the autoloader and sign in to all the apps you were in before.
Now connecte to your computer and run the application you used for the backups i.e. BB link / Sachesi and run the restoration from the Backup

try using a diff usb cable and port, refresh your pc.

Plug in blackberry
Open my computer
Double click blackberry virtual drive

It will attempt to install blend
It won't work
Just click "install drivers only"

It will work after that

i plug in my device adn on the screen of my z10 a small message appears saying device connected to computer
but then nothing happens either on my computer nor my device

Open settings - storage and access.
Change USB Connection to Windows not autodetect

I never store contacts on local address book or SIM.
All my contacts are on Gmail and hotmail.
So I just have to add the two accounts and all my contacts will be sync onto my phone.

im going ahead and doing full restore
