Why has blackberry still not provided a landscape perspective for this app? Anyone who uses their phone with a gps mount knows the frustration of being unable to quickly change artists/albums etc without dismounting it. Anyone else dissatisfied with this?

I believe there's a new option for the BlackBerry Assistant where, even if the phone is locked, you can still give commands. Like "Play Enjoy The Silence" or "Play Violator". I haven't tried the screen lock feature but the assistant has been pretty spot on when I tell it to play something. Try that.

Did anyone else notice how if you accidentally close the music player in 10.3, when you reopen it the last song you played is still queued up?
Also there is a neat little bar that lets you scroll through your music by album art

It seems to be gapless but I hear a weird stutter noise on top of the music.

Ever since 10.3.0.140 all native (in-house or 3rd party) cascades apps can go landscape. Hub can go landscape.

Next up will be app grid, homescreen and android apps hopefully.

I haven't been on 10.2.1 in a long time so I can't say, but it seems like it plays gapless with an audio glitch during the song change.

Thanks, the eq and gapless were the only other features I wanted in the native player. I like everything else about it.

Yeah it's quite unfortunately they haven't added landscape support to the Music Player

On a separate note, has anyone noticed that you can now switch songs from the top bar (which shows what's currently playing) in the music player by swiping left/right? that's kinda cool..
