am using version 10.2.1.2977..everything is working fine apart from the camera...before i was good with 10.1 update..after the new thread ..am unable to use camera app...how to fix this...could any of u here help me pls...

If you restart your phone you are still unable to use it?
Then you will have to load up a bar file for the camera from another OS.

Strange I have seen those problems a lot on iPhone 5's from my friends. A restart mostly does the job.

Try a restart:

Press and HOLD both Vol Up/Down buttons. Keep holding while the screen goes fully black (ignore the screenshot), keep holding through the Black/White logo and when the Colored Logo shows up, release those buttons.

If you have the STL100-1 variant the volume button reset method doesn't work. In that case, Press and HOLD the Power On Button until you see the LOGO as above

Have you recently installed or run any Android app that uses the camera?

i did instaled camera bar file through chrome method,,it was installed successfully....but in the phone menu there is no camera app...i can see only stock camera app..that too doesnt work...i tried android camera app also....even though i found the same problem as camera cant be started...now i came in to factory reset...nothing works for me....

yes...my phone model number is STL 100-1...i have restarted several times but nothing works..currently i didnt had any android app installed on my pohone...

You could try reloading the older 10.1.xxx OS for your phone model and see if that fixes the problem or if the camera problem was just a coincidence.

You can probably find an autoloader for the 10.1 OS in the OS Leak subforum.

Where can I find the older version..mine was STL100-1...my current software release was 10.2.1.2977...Os version is 10.2.1.3247..

finally guys....my phone camera working now after the service from the BB ,,,its camera hardware problem they changed my Z10 camera....everything is fine now....thank you all for ur suggestions and support...
