Just got my Z30. While setting up all seemed well. After switching devices in BlackBerry Link, z10 to z30, my screen now seems to had way over saturated reds in all the icons and photos.
Tried lowering brightness and messing with white balance of display but still burning my eyes:-)
What gives?

Can you show some screen shots?

Try reloading the OS without using device switch and see how that goes

If it's fine, use the device switch and see if that's what caused it.

My guess is that you just need to get used to the rich colour of the Z30 screen! It took me a couple of days to get used to it! I also came from a Z10!

Looks like I might redo the setup, this time with a security wipe first. There were some Rogers carrier apps present after migrating my data and sim from another carrier, Telus/koodo.
So this makes me think some low level settings, code from previous setup might still be present.

This happened to me too... at first the reds were so bright and unusual to me coming from the Z10, I'm adjusted now.

I've done the security wipe and reset on the phone. No difference on the high saturation reds. I'll play around some more with the brightness and white balance. Are there any other display colour adjustment controls?
