I hope im in the right thread. I created a private channel and uploading/reposting is fine except if the pic is an animated gif.

How to report or upload animated gif?

I ended up having 7 unposted post on the top of the channel and cant get rid of it.

You can get rid of them by clicking on the "Problem uploading.." that should open the pending posts, and from there you could remove them one by one.

Re-posting GIF images works fine here

I think if. Gif file is large then it fails to get update on channel but you can achieve that using channel manager

Thanks for that tip, now got rid of all pendings. But still cant repost any post with animated gif

I may be wrong when I say this but the. Gif has to be less than 1 or 2 MB otherwise it won't upload. I know this sounds really small. But if you make the. Gifs yourself just lower the frame rate

I keep my gifs around 1mb max and max width of 200 px. You can easily compress and trim gifs here. GIF animation online optimization

is it possible that the gif size increases to go beyond maximum limit when i just click a repost button from an exisiting channel?
