    Hi all,
    My wifes playbook has bricked.
She turned it off and now it will not turn back on.
Ive tried everything I can think of, maybe someone here can help?

The battery is not flat, I have confirmed that by opening the unit, and peeling up the battery. It was at 3.8V.
Just to make sure I charged it on my Bantam BC6 Lipo Charger. No problems, took a small amount of charge, terminated as expected.

Ive tried holding the power button for 30 seconds, Ive also tried the +-Vol and power button.
My PC doesn't recognise the PB as plugged in, but the lead is fine (verified with my phone).

Whilst it was open I examined the buttons, and they all seem ok.

    Any ideas?

I'm not sure. Once my android behaved this same. Its the OS problem. You should pass it to service centre. If your playbook was dropped or thrown, its the motherboard's problem. Pray its not the motherboard, bcoz it cost 65% price of the device. Good luck.

Ive not stack charged it, I charged the battery a little directly, using a LiPo Charger.
The Z10 fix seems to require the unit to communicate with the PC at least a little.
This Playbook doesn't event do that after hard reset (vol +pwr) or soft reset (pwr for 20 seconds).

I think RIP is right, but it seems a shame.
