    None of my 17 contacts will open in BBM today.
    I want to chat with any of them but it will take about 10 sec to open and the BBM app closes.
    This started to happen today. Yesterday it worked just fine. I have not installed new apps since about a month. What is happening? It doesnt work in both WiFi, nor just the carrier network. I have excellent signals. Everything else in BBM works..the shop, the channels, the groups etc..
    I have two Z30s and only one works just fine.
    Both Z30s have the latest official OS10.2.1.2977 update, and latest official BBM update.

    How long have these convos been going on? I had the same issue when I had a bunch of long standing chats happening. I had to reset BBM and erase all the convos to get back to easy, lag-free operation.

    I would have to look up how to reset BBM as I don't remember.

    You can't reset BBM, the only way is via a wipe as far as I know?

    OP have you made sure your BBM is on the most up to date version?
    Have you tried to just reboot the device with the volume keys?

    Delete the app and download again, it will remove any glitches

    I have rebooted, shutdown etc. and still doesnt work. All my contacts do not open or take about 10 secs to open the chat window, but then BBM closes down.

    Hold the app icon down the entire apps selection on the screen will start pulsating, you will see a small bin under the BBM app hit that it will delete it, you can then go back to BlackBerry World to reload it.

    Edit : Sorry that is only possible with the BBM app in the Work Space, Sorry!

    Try going into settings in the app and delete chat history to see if that fixes the problem.

    Turn off chat history, close effected chats, turn chat history back on

    Use the google PlayBook add-on. Take a. .Bar of bbm and replace it. How to use the add-on is explain on the forum.
