I reset it once and the light blue light was flashing. Usually I just reset again when this happens. I reset for a second time and it's still doing it.
It blinks about every 3 seconds.

1) Why is it flashing?
2) How do I get it to stop?

Try plugging into the wall for a while to make sure the its charged, then try again, if not you might have to load the os.

Oh everything works with the phone,it turns on and I'm using it right now. There is just an annoying flash going on while I type

Nothing seems to be changed there. I've never bothered to check out the settings before though honestly.. but nothing is on. Hmm :/ well let's try a 3rd reset...

I just was holding down the top button until the screen popped up with the option go feset. That wasn't working so I held down the top button until it shut down and the red light shut off. The blue blinking has stopped now!

I believe you have a Z30, you should do it by holding the volume up and down buttons in until you see the blue loading circle, disregard all other screens

Is the phone a Verizon refurb? This is known and all inclusive bug on vzw refurbs. I bet it doesn't ever charge to 100% either, right? You can fix that at least by charging it only while the phone is powered down

Not a version refurb... and it always charges to 100%. It's a Rogers phone and bought it brand new from them. A hard reset did the trick. I just wish I knew what was actually happening to fix the issue. Seems to happen the majority of the time when I reset my phone (which is once in a blue moon).

I wouldn't worry about it. It's software. They all do wonky things from time to time.
