I was looking for a thread that could just answer this question quickly, but I couldn't find one. If it exists I'm sorry.

    I have a z30 on 10.2.1.2977. I saw a 10.2.2 is that official or a leak I'm so confused right now.

Reason, to find out if the BlackBerry software update on the website is still carrier dependent... I tried loading it through the site and said that this was the latest...

My Z30 came from shop.blackberry.com I used a att sim and it's still unlocked I think, just wanted to make sure if it's the latest

It is entirely up to you what you want to load on your device. There are ways to load an OS on your device stickied within this sub forums

See that's what I'm trying to find out if 10.2 is the latest official software they pushed out. Maybe not in the US and is 10.2 only for z10. As a supplement for them not getting 10.3. I can't remember what was up with that? Is every device getting 10.3 or no? If so is the software naming going to change for those devices? See how confused I am lol

They call non carrier OS as leak, it is official outside of your country, so, in theory it is not a leak.

Leak, official, unofficial, etc. It's both exciting and confusing at the same time, John Chen need to do something about those OS releases ASAP.

It is but I'm trying to see if updating through the website actually gives you the most recent update directly from BlackBerry. Or is my sim affecting the 10.2.2 update or is the 10.2.2 update not official...

I'm trying to see if we can go around carriers via the website update. Should I take the sim off and try again? My phone came unlocked from BlackBerry...

You could get the latest via website update, thank goodness your BB is not locked.
Just keep in mind; you should find all the info about the latest OS before you actually install it, CrackBerry forums is one of the best places, to find out if it suits you or not.

If you want the latest OS read this first and you find your way out from there. I did the same and I'm running OS 10.2.2

    http://m.crackberry.com/blackberry-o...out-regionally

After reading just click on sachesi, download it you don't need to download anything else it will do that for you, the parameter you need to input is 262, 01 and your mobile version after the downloading is finish it will install on your device as if it was OTA

    Here is my spree shot

What is the latest official OS from BlackBerry-img_20140817_111849.png

My first BlackBerry Z10 (wall hugger) will soon be replaced by its successor Z20
