If I buy an unlocked Q10 or Z10 from the Blackberry store, will it work with T-mobile? The store page says "Compatible with GSM carriers except T-mobile," and I am on T-mobile. I tried to search this but did not get a good answer. My gut says it should work, but I want a confirmation before I buy one.

Well, both will work, the question is to what degree?

The Z10 will work 100%
The Q10 may be the SQN100-1, which would mean it's not compatible with 1 of TMO's 3 high speed bands (a widely deployed one, at that.) You want the SQN100-5 for TMO. If you can somehow find out if it's the SQN100-5 they're selling or not--like by calling or emailing support--then that would go a long way.
