I'm currently using version 2.0 according to the "about this version" section on the instagram app. This version doesn't have the direct messaging or anything. Do you guys have a later version that is working that has the direct messaging?

I installed my current version without using a computer... I'm assuming that means it's a bar File, right? I can't really remember how it was downloaded.

If you use Snap you can download and install the APK for Instragram, no more bar files. I have 6.4.1 running on both my Z30 and Z10....Release OS 10.2.1

Oh great thanks! I downloaded snap, but it is unable to open. Could you guide me on how to open it, or download it properly? Beyond that, I can figure it out, don't worry haha

Did you download it directly on your phone? It won't work like that, you'll need to sideload it like it was an android app.

Once installed, you'll need to sign in with your Google account. Once this is done, you'll have all the Google play store at your fingertips! tho not all apps are going to work.
