    I have a limited edition Z10 that I might need to send to brand alliance for repairs. The problem isn't minor but it's also something I can make do with...

    My question is, has anyone else been through this process? If so, was the matter resolved expediently or did it take forever? I don't want to send the phone for repairs to never get it back for months.

    It took me a bit more than 4 weeks from the moment I sent it to when I got it back. In the meantime they sent me a loaner phone (HTC 1)

    I sent mine in with a crackle in the phone speaker,and they sent me a brand new Z10. 9 days. No worries I think

    If You are in Canada, stay away from Rogers! They are horrible to deal with. They don't give a flaming rats *** about you or your device. If you are dealing with Bell you will have better warranty service.

    Long story short, sent my Q10 in for keyboard replacement. 10 days, everything was good. The Bell store rep even gave me his personal business card with his number if I had any questions.

    My GF sent in her Q10 same reason. 2 and a half weeks later, no one in the store knows what the hell is going on. Then finally, they say she's getting a brand new Q10 as a replacement cause they lost the phone. (she lied, it was a refurb). Asked to speak to the manager more than once during the process. Manager would never field the call. (always busy with another matter).

    Yup

    A couple times. Brand alliance just does the shipping. They bring it back to a repair center. And in most cases they discard it and send you a new one. Takes a few weeks. Not worth worrying about they treat you well.

    Its the company that ships devices that devs won or got from the contests BlackBerry used to have.

    Based in US somewhere, I think Ohio but dont' quote me on that.

    Where is brand alliance? What country? Never heard of it

    I just had my LE die too. Quick to reply. Asked a few questions and off for repair - well past the 1 year warranty.
