Hello all, allow me to join this forum. For the last 18 months I started my day by opening CB and reading posts in Z10 forum. Today I retired my beloved Z10 and got Z30. Z10 served me faithfully and never ever failed. I didn't need to upgrade but, being a man, I was itching for a new toy. I heard a lot of good things about Z30 so I trusted you guys who posted positive reviews. What also helped me to come to this decision was an incredible deal I managed to wrangle out of Rogers. It helped that I am their loyal customer for 18 years. I got Z30 for free, got out of my 3 years contract with $0 early buyout and signing a new 2 years contract. Free Z30 so it is no brainer.
I transferred my contacts via Link (it worked to my surprise) and installed all my Z10 apps. So far so good and hope the new phone will be as reliable as Z10. Cheers!

Give me your on spot feedback , it's important how you feel compared with the Z10. I'm also having the Z10 from March 2013 and was the longest period that I've used a smartphone...

I absolutely love my Z30! I own an iPhone 5s, P9982, Z10, and Q10 (yes I have an addiction) and I always come back to the Z30. This phone is a pure work horse. Unplug from charger when I get up for work at 4:30 am and it has 38 % battery left at 11:00 pm when I go to bed. I use it for four email accounts and I am a heavy texter and BBMer. It powers through! Love thus phone!

Day 2 with my new Z30. So far I am impressed and if it proves to be as reliable as my Z10, I will be ecstatic. Why did I wait so long?
One problem though. My Contact app does not show any social media contacts after I turned this off, but the contacts in the Telephone app still show every FB, LinkedIn etc. contact I have and I see no provision in telephone app to turn it off. I didn't have this problem in Z10. Any advice? Thanks.

I just noticed that by changing the permission in the contact app it doesn't also change it in the security / permissions section. You may wish to change permissions there as well.

I literally just received my z30 from shop blackberry.com, STA 100-5. I was able to get link to transfer pretty much everything including my android apps, unfortunately there were a few apps that didn't transfer, after the initial restart link failed to recognize the z30 so well I proceeded to do it manually, still better than doing everything 90% of it was already done so it wasn't so bad. I'm just really excited that I have the Moga pocket and I'm using it with mupen 64 to play ocarina of time and smash bros, auto detects the controller and boom playing. I was doing it on the z10 but I wanted better battery life. Yay! Anyways I love the screen it's easier on my eyes. So far so good. Really wanted the passport but my battery man was killer
