I am thinking of buying a Z10 but before that I would love to know about apps.
How are they comparing to iOS, Android, Windows Phone?

Why not list the applications you tend to use? If you use Google apps often, you're going to run into problems with BlackBerry 10. Hard to give you a recommendation when the question is very generalized.

I don't use google apps. Only Youtube.
Also:
Skype, Viber, Whatsapp, FB Messenger
Sofascore (Live score app)
Instagram, Facebook
Bing maps (Any other decent map app is ok)
And I have a .outlook.com email address.

Facebook messenger is very very poor on bb10. There is a third party app though which works decently well, but no official app.

Looks like you would be okay for the most part. I'd say if there's any way you could test out the platform for a week or so then go for it as you'll get a better feel for the operating system.
