As it stands right now a number of android apps do not work on my z10 stl100-1, netflix being one of them.

I know this is a known issue.

Does Netflix and all the other android apps that do not seem to work on the stl100-1 with 10.2.1, work with the updated android runtime on 10.3?

An answer would be greatly appreciated

Netflix works on all devices running 10.2.1 as far as I know, did you try getting the latest 10.2.1 for the STL-100-1?

I guess you don't own a stl100-1.
I have 10.2.1.3247 installed

10.2.2 does not change the android runtime at all its a 10.2.1 update with cryptography for secusmart.

Certain android apps not working on stl100-1 is a known issue and has been for a while

The only 1 I came across that's non stl1 compatible is Google maps (freezes)..
I don't use netflix so I can't comment

The argument isn't that most android apps do not work, its that the handful of apps that work on the majority of bb10 phones simply do not work on the stl100-1

I never had any problems with my STL-1 running Android apps. Obviously the only ones which didn't work were the ones which required Google Services.

And for Netflix, try Googling 'Netflix mobile stuck on loading screen', and you'll see that Android users themselves are having problems. So it's not just STL-1's problem.

You can try loading an older version of Netflix and see if that works.

I came to those exact Conclusion, but got annoyed when Netflix runs like a dream streaming and all on my wife's stl100-3

I have an update:

My wife and I are now running 10.3.0.1052. With the updated android runtime to 4.3 from 4.2.2 and she can still watch Netflix on her stl100-3 and I still cannot watch Netflix on my stl100-1.

What a shame
