Hi. I'm running 10.3.0.296 on my Z10. I've had this for about 2 weeks now and I love it, apart from a few issues. One issue is that it heats up really quickly. Another issue is that sometimes it unexpectedly crashes and the device turns is it off, but by far my greatest issue is with the Music App. I like to listen to a lot of music, and when I plug my headphones in, and play a song, there are these little static sounds that the device makes while playing music. This happens every single time I listen to music. These "static" sounds louder and some songs then others, but on every song it is guaranteed you'll hear these noises. The sounds are quite clear and it is annoying! Also, sometimes the song just stops playing for about 2 - 3 seconds and starts again. Furthermore, sometimes, the music app just closes. Soo, I need help. In 5 days, I'm going on holiday to Italy and I won't have access to Blackberry Link or any leaks. So do you think I should downgrade to 10.2.2 where everything is smooth but it has those horrible app icons with the grey stuff, OR Should I keep 10.3.0.296 with its much neater and nicer UI and more features but with I few problems like the Music App?

Please let me know your thoughts on what I should do.

Let us know what Music app version you are running.

You can go to Device Monitor>Storage>Music> and the version should be displayed at the top.

Did it happen before you installed this leak? Don't forget, leaks are installed at the users own risk. They are leaks. No guarantee that is 100%

As I see your options:

- Download another music app, neutron has been suggested by many users on this forum.

- downgrade OS

- try loading. 700 or older.bar file for music.

Does it happen without headphones plugged in? If not change headphones.

Does it happen with your tube or any other app?

It doesn't happen on YouTube and stuff like that. This issue didn't happen when I was on 10.2.1.

Does all icon will look like in next version. If yes finally they have some uniform icon design guidelines unlike Android which there is no guidelines for icon and Ui across android .

My music app is running 10.300.0.38, you do have an older one. Try sideloading the music bar file from the 10.3.700 bars. It may help.
Personally I love the new redesigned music app! It's smooth and I don't have any issues with it.

I'm running the same version Music App and 10.3.0.296/442 on my Z10. All my albums and every song is crystal clear on my BlackBerry Headphones and external speaker. I suggest reloading only the bar file for the Music App and restart your phone, then try it again and get back to us...PM me if you like. I'll be happy to give you personal one on one help.
