    Anyone have any issue or heard of such thing? Got my code punched it in. Says successfully unlocked but it's not when I tried it!!

    Guy I got code from says he has heard of this before with bell and there replacement and it's a BlackBerry software issue?

    Plz plz plz help!

    I'm leaving Sunday for a month! Need my cell overseas!

    Glad you asked and that would be a NEGATIVE. Still waiting for BlackBerry rep to call me. They said 1-2 weeks. Going now on a week and a half.

    So been over 2 weeks and zero calls or emails from BlackBerry rep. as they said #customerservice finest! Not sure what to do now.

    Was the code provided from the carrier or from a third party unlocking company? Oh and BlackBerry themselves do not have the code to provide, they codes are generated by the carrier directly.

    Code was provided to me by my carrier bell mobility. After un successfully not working they passed on my information to BlackBerry and said a BlackBerry rep will contact you in 1-2 weeks.

    Interesting, as the carriers are the ones generating the lock codes. But ok. Best of luck with the code.

    Currently having the exact same issue. I just bought a Q10 that was locked with Bell. I got the unlock code from Bell rep and when I added the code I got the "successfully unlocked" popup. I inserted my Fido sim card and was still locked. Tried to put the same code with my Fido sim in the phone and got "wrong code"... not sure what to do at this point. I'll probably sell the device to someone that is with Bell and get another one already unlocked..

    Sorry to hear about that. If you waiting for bell to fix this issue don't hold your breath. I'm going on 2 months now. Apparently BlackBerry going to call me in 2 weeks time back in August.

    Guess maybe that employee that was supposed to call me to fix this issue got laid off??
