Okay, it's just the $4 TPU Passport case I ordered a couple of weeks ago, but it has a cardboard replica of the Passport, aka Q30, which is fun and makes it easy to see how it'll be to hold and operate. More or less.

It looks awesome to me. I'm excited for this device. My Z10 died on me yesterday...the third one to do so. So I'm using a Nexus 5 until I can get my hands on the passport

On the semi-serious side, it feels like it'll be terrific to use two-handed. As for one-handed, it's a stretch to span the keyboard with a thumb. I can do it but I definitely have big hands. Using the keyboard as trackpad one-handed should be no problem.

The screen size, even on the cardboard mockup, is truly striking. The real thing will have a real impact, I think. We've been putting up with letterbox screens for so long the Passport screen will feel like a whole new world.

All that from a cheapo case!

Haha OP. I ordered the same case just to get a real feel for the basic size. Lol

If I'm comfortable with the overall size. After a short demo, I feel I'll most likely pull the trigger. I love my Q. But will admit the screen size on my girlfriends Z30 does make me a lil jealous at times.

Just can't wait to see and give one a try.

Just over two weeks.

I always get these cheap TPU cases to start, then see if there's a more posh case that I want later. Sometimes I just stick with the cheap one. This material has good elasticity and does a good job absorbing shocks. I go for the clear so I can still see the phone through it. The stuff yellows over time, but it's no big deal to get a new one.

True that. This is actually a standard part of my new phone drill. I buy the cheap TPU case well before I even order the phone, so I have it when I do get the phone. As for fit... I imagine BlackBerry guarantees the dimensions when they release them to the aftermarket manufacturers. I'm not sure about that but it seems like basic good business practice.
