Hi i purchased a 9700 off fleabay and the keyboard membrane was dirty and didn't work properly. I bought a new keypad membrane and i now have a problem when i put the keypad on the back button does not work.
If i leave the keypad off and use a pen it works but as soon as i rest the keypad on it the back button does not work. The key clicks so it is making contact.
Any ideas?

Maybe you need to replace the keyboard as well?

I have replaced the membrane because the space didnt work. All keys work now besides back key but it only stops working when i put keyboard on i have tried with the old keyboard but still the same if i use a pen when the keyboard is off then it works.
I will get to the bottom of this.
