I updated to os 10.2.1.3253 a week before. Everything was going fine since the day before yesterday, suddenly my phone switches off even with the battery more than 50% remaining. I have to connect to the charger to restart the phone. It also switches off while I transfer anything using blue tooth. I have swiped the device, but still the problem continues. I have recalliberated the battery too by taking off the battery and putting it again after 15 minutes, but it didn't help out.

You have z10 stl1 it is the known issue... remove uiur battery for an hour then plug it in to temporarily resolve it

It's super secure BlackBerry style known still not fixed issue happening users across all BB devices (having same problems on Q10 and Q5). Allegedly it will be fixed in 10.3 or 10.3.1 according to Michael Clewey.

Started happening to me at 20% several weeks ago as well, but 50% is a serious issue. P!sses me off. We need a new iteration of the Z10. I'm hoping a new full touch device will be released around Christmas.

In the meantime I'm fixing to do a device wipe and OS install sometime in the next couple of days to see if it will give me some performance enhancements and stability.

I recently did my first wipe since owning the phone when they were into'd into the US. Noticeably better battery life and much greater stability. But after the wipe it took a few days for it to "settle in", sort of like loading a new OS, FWIW.

If like me you've had your phone from around the first release of the Z10 chances are your battery has had the maximum number of charges and it won't hold its charge as long and cuts out at around 20%..

I've just brought a new genuine battery and the charge last 20-30% longer.

If it dies on 20-30, you might consider calibrating your system. If it happens on more than that, try using other batteries.

I updated to os 10.2.1.3253 15 days ago. Everything was going fine since last week, suddenly my phone switches off even with the battery more than 60-80% remaining. I have to connect to the charger to restart the phone. I have swiped the device and down graded the os to 10.2.1.3247, but still the problem continues. Now i have reloaded the os 10.2.1.3253. I have recalliberated the battery too by taking off the battery and putting it again after 15 minutes to one hour several times, but it didn't help out. I have put the battery into one of my friend's z10 and it showed 23% less juice than mine.

please help me out of this got frustated now...
