Now on.10.3.0.296 seems okay but odd matter on the home screen. Name of a memory address lightly posted in each corner! Its probably something of the model # since it matches that with 'XXXXBB642C'

That expected or should I just move on up to 10.3.0.700 or ??

That is the pin of your device and those watermarks are there until a different version of 10.3 is released as an official.
Both 296 and 700 have them. It's a typical thing for every OS under a certain designation to have pin watermarks.

PS reading the thread from whence you got the OS could have told you that as well. I'm sure someone posted about "does it have pin watermarks"....

Thanks! On the post for the source of it I didn't happen to see any notes, including about 'watermarks'. It merely seemed to offer 'good luck, check it out, roll it back it a problem.' For the thread I snagged it from. Also I think I've gotten them later than '.0' releases so the other never had watermarks.

P.S. How does one delete a thread/post since I inadvertently posted it twice...

Guess more of the 'dumb questions' for the group (which I know I should be able to 'read' on 1st). Oh well let the critiques come forth..

1. The new Home Page does what? Maybe to drop in most used tasks or ? Seems redundant swipe thru for now..
2. The white background for hub/texting. That adjustable? Pretty oogooly as is...
3. And Gearhead you been up on 0.700 yet?? Any reported improvements of .296 or such?

Go into settings in BBM and turn off "show action bar". That will fix your concern.
