Willing to spend money, PayPal, immediately.

My Q10 is TOTALLY dead, all of a sudden. I haven't backed up in months on Link. (Like an *****, I know).

I NEED my data, and have a grand new Q10 ready to go and cannot afford the hours of time to get contacts, settings, etc etc back.

Looking for someone who really might know some tips and tricks.

Perhaps a BB employee or someone? I'll offer a $300 bounty if you can get my phone alive or get everything off it....

    Thank you.

put the battery from the new one in your old phone see if it powers up, then plug into link and do a device switch,

what was the battery level at before dying? Sometimes plugging the device into a charger for a few hours brings them back to life

Tried both of those, nothing... the craziest thing is it was 85%+ charged when it died in my car while connected on Bluetooth playing music and has been TOTALLY dead since. No lights, etc.

Doesn't seem like a simply battery issue unfortunately

well do what howarmat said , plug it in for an hour or so and see if it comes back, or try running an auto loader and hold the power button until it connects

go to this thread and download the autoloader for your device, unzip the file, you will end up with an exe file double click on it and a window will come up and say connecting to boot rom, plug your phone into the pc and hold down the power button, your led will turn green and it will reboot when its done, make sure link is not open.

He didn't want to lose his data. Installing autoloader may wipe the data, don't you think? Just asking

well unfortunately if the new battery doesn't fire it up your screwed, when you put the new battery in the old phone and plug it into the wall it does nothing.

What about pulling the battery out and plugging it into the computer to see if it will power on/if link will recognize it? Seems like a long shot but I thought I had read before people got their devices booted like this when there was no sign of life. Might be wrong but what do you have to lose?

Contact BlackBerry maybe they know a 3rd party who does data recovery on cell devices who they can recommend. But be warned it could set you back a few thousand easily. In the future backup your data daily so that your if you do lose it again it won't hurt so much.

    Here are my suggestions.

Disconnect your phone cable from your computer.
    Delete Link and re-download Link.
    Reboot your computer.
Then connect the phone cable and plug your phone in. Make sure you use an authentic BB cable,
