Finally got my new Z10 battery from eBay today. It is almost 3 times larger than the original BlackBerry Z10 battery. The battery came with a new larger backing on it. It feels great and I do not mind the extra weight. As you can imagine it is taking a long time to charge fully. I will let you know how long it lasts.

I am in outside sales so having communications and email on the road is imperative.

Okay, remember to post us the graph from device monitor, since last charging...
Because it's a new battery, its potential is reached after a few (5 times??) charging cycles... but your Z is already a monster!!

I charged it to exactly 100% today but I am not sure if it really was a 100% charge on such a large battery. Tonight I will charge it for 7 hours. When I get up at 7am I will start the stopwatch again for a full account of the new battery. I will time it until it turns off due to lack of power.

I will try to remember to get a shot of the device manager when it is sitting at 0% battery life left.

Better move between 15-100% of power!! As soon the sign is yellow, plug it in! Do not wait until it is red (less than 10%)...
The extremes 0-10% and 90-100% are very slow in charging...
It is more efficient to charge between 20 and 90%
It takes longer to charge from 90 to full than from 70-80% for example...
Charging the battery coming from lesser than 15% is delicate... you "have to" charge it fully then!

Why don't you get the playbook rapid charger? Excellent investment. I have 5 of them. There was someone selling them on ebay for a lot of 3 for $18 not too long ago. Way faster than the stock chargers that come with the phone!

So far today the big battery has lasted 6 hours and 38 minutes with 50% charge showing. I thought it would last a lot longer but at least it will go the entire business day without have to plug it into a charger. That is one hell of a convenience.

You guys don't have this battery yet?? There are a few threads about it. It's HUGE, but the battery life is ridiculous. Only downside really is the weight and the lack of case functionality

I don't have the battery yet. Instead I opted for the 1800 times two approach. That way my NFC will work (which i have used once in my life to share a photo over one year ago.
