I just loaded Z10STL100-4/10.2.1.3253 and the update is wonderful. Everything seems smoother and snappier. Thanks BlackBerry and Verizon!!!

Compass works. Data when I drop to 1X and 3G actually works good considering. Those are the big fixes I've noticed so far.

Found another fix. I have all notification tones for my BBM groups disabled. Yet they would still periodically still tone. Now they are silent as I prefer.

Alright I got the VZW notice and did the upgrade yesterday (Z10). Now today I get a notice for. 2976

Duplicate notices, two slightly different versions. Not touching this new one. Anyone else?

Can anyone explain/summarize the differences between this update and the last official Verizon release?

The phone does seem smoother with the update, I am just wondering if there has been any functionality added - I've poked around in the forums and haven't been able to find anything specific. And the change list on the Verizon website is pretty generic, doesn't really tell me anything new.

Have you tried to delete the update notice or has it reappeared after deletion?

Deleted the notice. But under Software Updates in Settings it's still there with no delete option. Ah for the simple days of battery pulls with BBOS!

So what kind of changes and enhancements is everyone noticing? Verizon site is way to vague and really does not go into a lot of detail such as the viewing attachment enhancements? I have not noticed anything different, and some of the other things. What in detail please is everyone finding? I do not notice any differences other then the phone being very snappy, and less lag

The pdf is not release notes for this update. It is the noted for the original 10.2.1.

Changes for this release are exFAT support, many bug fixes including multi-email delete popup not appearing.

Thus far the VZW update had been a Z10 update only. A week ago they started rolling out the Z10 OTA. Nothing for the Q or Z30. What is going on?

I'm currently on an official OS Verizon Z30 10.2.1.2126. Yesterday, through the check for software updates under settings I received an update for (drum roll , please) software release 10.2.1.2126! 368 KB. That's not a typo. Any idea what's going on? Anyone else receive such nonsense?

Does anyone know why Blackberry has an exclusive offer for the Z30 with Verizon when the Verizon sales people tell you not to buy it?

Over this past weekend I went to 3 Verizon Stores in the Tampa market looking for the Z30. The first 2 stores did not have a display Z30 to touch and hold. The sales people told me they have over a 50% return rate and the phone is awful.

I went to a 3rd store in Citrus Park and they had one on display. How ever I was told the exact same thing by 2 sales people. It was as if Verizon wanted this phone to fail. When I pointed out that this phone has a high rating by the users on their site, they claimed that it was all Blackberry employees. When I told them about the great reviews from independent review articles they just said "trust us, you don't want that phone".

Why is that Verizon???

Many threads on VZW and the failure to carry phones in stores. Partial responsibility lies with BB. (VZW is the only carrier that chose to carry the Z30 so at least we have a way to get the phone through the carrier while the ATT/TMO/Sprint customers are pretty much screwed). However this thread is about the software update that we are waiting for on the VZW Z10, Q10 and Z30.
