Some would only say it's natural to want a device you missed, especially if it was one that was so popular. I know people who are like those who just like to step back and drive that old car they always wanted, why not a phone?

I float back and forth between my 9900 and my Q10. For example this reply was written on the 9900, in the browser. Too bad there isn't a CB10 for the 9900. Or I just haven't found it yet. edit: found it just now in BBW.

you are not alone. I'm using iphone 5 and I'm really missing 9900 these days, especially physical keyboard. I'm waiting for the price of 9900 in Blackberry store will down to $299.

I love the look of my 9900 but the weak wifi antenna and quality made me switch to a Q10 permanently.

That phone should actually be $199, don't know why Blackberry is selling it for $399.

A 9900 has been my daily driver for almost 3 years now, best phone I have ever owned, plan to keep it for some time to come.

Might try a Classic with my overdue free upgrade but won't part with the 9900.

my first Blackberry was a Z10 and then i wanted to try a legacy phone
and Bold 9900 seemed the best one, it's very good and battery lasts me a full working day.

I went from the z10 back to a 9900. The 9900 Is the best looking phone out of all phones. Imo. I will go back to BlackBerry 10 when the passport comes out. I find the battery is far better on the 9900. Plus, I got tired of the z10 quickly. Seemed like I had the z10 for years. Just was not that happy with it. 9900 was a better fit for my kind of work and I don't have to charge it nearly as much as the z10.

Z10 Q10 Z30 and I still traded a Z10 for a 9900 nothing beats the quality of that phone. I wish BB10 phones were built as nice.

My 9930 took a dive on me..jumped out of my pocket onto concrete. So I have gone for a N5..great phone ..I really like the 9930 but wanted a change, I found my battery would only make it a day at best though. Phone calls really killed it.

That is crazy! Rethinking I actually believe $199 is too high. I understand blackberry is in the business of making $$$, but if your competition is offering devices like the Moto G for $80, then that 9900 should be $125 at most.

You don't want a 9900 if you have a Q10, and Z30. Wait for the passport or classic

I've bought a Bold 9900 this week for the reason I wanted to try it. I think I will use it a lot. The phone is great and I like the buttons. Q10 is faster and you don't have to restart it after each app update. If you need spelling for particular languages, as in my case, the Q10 is more appropriate and usable. However, the 9900 is still worth to buy.

I'm very satisfied with the purchase. I bought a new and originally packed device on eBay from a very professional seller in Germany for 199 Euro. The price is OK for me since phone operators in my country sell the device still for more than 600 Euro.

The 9900 has everything I need from a phone (calling, email and messaging). I still have to activate the BIS, mainly for email and Whatsapp. I will do it in a couple of weeks.

Will you find it is missing a multitude of apps and bells and whistles of BB10? Yes.
Is the camera on the BB10 devices much better. Yes.
Is the Bold's browser slow and at times maddening compared with BB10? Yes.
But...will you find over and over again how easy it is on emails, texting, phones and being able to manage things by feel as much as by sight...oh yes!
And...will you be glad you have it and don't want to part with it....yep. (until Classic comes along..........)
    Welcome to your new Bold.
