Hi everyone,
Just noticed that the podcast app that comes with the Playbook no longer connects to anything. It says the service is unavailable. Any reason why?

The cataloguing service has been terminated, apparently, but you can still enter URLs manually.

Incidently, my PB didn't come with the app (a region issue, I'm guessing), and I only got it after the death of the service, through a download link in a thread that announced said death. :P

I can not figure out why the service would be terminated. Seems like there should be a way to connect to another by default when opening. I have manually entered a source so still can use but, a catalog service would should still be available when opening.

Try AntennaPod from the appstore as an alternative to the original Podcaster

BeyondPod works great; it's feature-rich and you can easily tweak it to your liking

Can you please share the link. I have the same problem and would like to install the stock podcast app.

+1 for BeyondPod! An Android conversion to .BAR, it works very efficiently, and is very feature rich!
