I just wanted to see everyone's thoughts on who would be a GREAT Creative Director/Spokesperson for BlackBerry if they decided to bring back that position for marketing purposes. I know Alicia Keys was the most recent in 2013, but not anymore.

I know BlackBerry is targeting the Enterprise sector, so maybe a high profile Celebrity/CEO/Entrepreneur? Oprah? Mark Cuban? Donald Trump? Jimmy Fallon?

    Beats has Dre
    Intel has will.i.am
    Polaroid has Lady Gaga
    Samsung has Jay Z
    Acura has Jerry Seinfeld
    HTC had Robert Downey Jr
    Nikon has Ashton Kutcher

    Let's hear your thoughts!!!

Preferably nobody, given the zero sum results of the Alicia Keys deal.

I think we are beyond the point where a celebrity is just using the phone to get paid and given a ridiculous and transparent title. However, if you have to do it then Neil Degrasse Tyson.

Much as I hate to say it, Justin Bieber would probably help them shift the most handsets. He has a huge and devoted social media following.

Well if BlackBerry is targeting the Enterprise sector they should get someone like the grandmaster pimp in the red cloak! from the movie: Eyes Wide Shut.

    cheers!

The suggestions here cater to largely North American Palate. A celebrity with global acceptance is what BlackBerry needs.

    No one, I hope.

If anything, I hope maybe they have smaller ad campaigns with different celebrities in different fields, talking about how they use their BlackBerry, like that coach or whoever with his Z30. I think it was on their YouTube channel or something. But definitely not anyone as a spokesperson for the entire brand. How many of us could relate to Alicia Keys? Not very many, is the answer.

We need more political correct slaves from the entertainment industry. Or occult music industry. So we all can say "yaaaay".

Like Jay-Z, Rihanna, Madonna, Bruno Mars, Kesha or Lady Minajj, Kwame West. They do everything for money.

This is what BlackBerry needs. The likes of this clan.

I like this. Localized, such as a Bollywood star for India or drama heartthrob for Indonesia, etc. and with firm contractual agreements to always use the BBRY during the length of the contract.

Creative "Director", my shiny hiney. Waste of money.
