    I use the BlackBerry Q10, and my girlfriend uses iphone, but when we chat with BBM on each smartphone, the messages will have a time delay. Sometimes, the delay is long time and sometimes it's just tens seconds. Did you meet this case?

    Not the case for me and my dad's iPhone. It's instantaneous. And the app is closed.

    I'm using a BlackBerry Z10 and my girlfriend uses an iPhone 4S (next phone will be a BlackBerry for sure, she does not really like her iPhone that much). We chat on BBM all the time, and it has not been a lagging experience for both of us. BBM Voice can be improved upon using it cross-platform, but the rest is buttery smooth with me.

    Make sure that she's using the latest version of BBM.

    No difference either, my gf uses ip5s (she swaped to z30 today), but we havent seen any lag...

    Yes, she always updated the latest BBM version. Uh, I don't know why the delays occurred.

    I've used android to android, and BB to android BBM, there is definitely a delay at times, and sometimes it does take quite long.
